save your money to get what you want, it's worked pretty good for me... I'd probably have alot more money if I wasn't the type of person that goes all or nothing with my hobbies too. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Dude I am on the same page as you. I think cause as a kid and as a teen in high school, I couldn't have everything I wanted, now I am materialistic as a motherf*cker, well in terms of buying myself stuff. In high school I fixed up all my friends cars cause I drove an 87 Suzuki Samurai, then like 3 years after high school, I got my EG, you've all seen it, I really overdid it. I just finally had a car of my own to do it the right way. Not to mention DJing is expensive as hell, shoe fetishes (which I think I've stopped now) was getting out of control for awhile, so yeah hobbies + same all or nothing mentality freakin' sucks man. Not to mention, I sold the hatch for an Sti. Nobody needs an STi, I'll be the first to admit that.

for the price it takes to do the swap, I wouldn't expect any less than 12 second runs. IMO

I'm not really all that materialistic for the most part, but I do everything for the fun factor(though, cars do follow the materialistic end for the sake I do like to sit and admire after I've changed things outside the engine bay). I spend/spent alot of money on things like sports(such as snowboarding EVERY weekend last season) and going out(hey, as often as I've been going out and drinking lately, it's a hobby . honestly though, the truck will be overkill by the time I'm done with it.. and beyond overkill when I start phase 2 on it. every car I call a project in the future will defiantly head towards the overkill end of the spectrum just to attempt to outdo my last. it almost sucks to know this so far ahead of time.

I should so call in sick...

I made a deal with a guy I know to buy some parts from him sunday though so that should be cool. I'll be getting an intake, header, test pipe and an apexi cat back for $175 and my stock crap. I asked if he would trade tails to but he said expletive that.

its a pretty long trip from cali. You'd have to be dead serious about them to make it all the way here. I should tour the plant since I've lived here my whole life but I havent yet.

The only dsm I've owned was a sohc galant which sucked... I'm sure a turbo eclipse would be much funner but I'm not really into crank walk and then theres whe whole honda worship thing.

yea, I never was fortunate to own a turbo myself... only two non-turbo's a 93 1.8 laser and a 98 eclipse gs. wanted a 97-98 talon TSi forever though, so rare and oh so sexy, the 2g build quality turned me off after owning my 98 though. the 1g's are more solid and 90-mid 92 have the 6 bolt motor so no crankwalk woes. though, crankwalk doesn't happen as often as you'd think.. and generally motors with lots of miles(like 80k plus) of them are not likely to get it.

I had a 1993 galant, sohc 2.0l with an auto. That car was a heap of ****. I finaly sold it and bought by ef sedan back in 2004. I really miss that car but this hatch is pretty damn fun. I just wish it would stop making noise. I think the fuel pump was whining for god knows what reason off and on and now I think the wheel bearings are bad but I dunno I havent had it up on a jack yet to check it out. One of these days I'll get fed up with it and take it to a shop lest I expletive it up more.

was it your first car? I don't know anyone that ever had a god thing to say about their first car, other than they somehow miss it
you paid $700 for the hatch right? well IMO it's worth like $2500, that leaves you with atleast $1800 worth of problems... very rarely do you come up with a deal on a good car in good shape, especially in this day and age.

btw back from a shortlived night at the bars, way too many cops out for this little town...but I cna't say anything bad about being around hot girls all night

well it was the first day at the track for the white one, and he was having some mechanical issues. he told me he didn't even get to finish the whole 1320.

the green one was running slow that day too. but i didn't get times.

i was just told they were running poor.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Nautical_Star &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Nice, are they gutted interior wise?</TD></TR></TABLE>

both cars have complete interior in them. they're show cars as well.

the white one has brand new interior brand new carpet brand new headliner, brand new panels etc. full interior..

the green one has full interior as well because that's the guy that i sold my rear panels too.
