Sup charlie, damm free paint job? must be nice. If you want an even more deeper black look to go nicely with the mercedes or bmw black, you should make it a 3 stage job. do the black base, & then a mid coat of an intercoat of clear mixed w/ the black, & then clear. It will the black nice and deep since the intercoat makes it harder to see when the base ends & where the clear coat starts.

whats up guys? doing some changes for the hatch. EX front brake upgrade and a rear disc conversion. Along with front and rear sway bars too

 

My mate owns a garage much similar to daniels pitcrew (parts&workshop/bodyshop), i go there to hang out all the time. He also has his own computer paint mixing set up, and can mix up any colour possible out of all the base colours he has in a heated cabinet. Saw him mix up some mazda black for an RX8 the last time i was there, really intricate stuff, gotta be very careful when measuring out all the paint as they go in. The tin sits on a digital scale so you put specific grams worth of paint in to get the perfect blend.

Karting is amazing, a good 20 guys from my local forum are going karting too in a couple of weeks on an amazing outdoor track where they say the karts can reach up to 70mph on the straight!

Tomorrow though, a good few cars are getting together for a proper photoshoot in edinburgh. Will be a good mix of eg's, ek's, ep's, accords, s2k's and other jap cars. There will be at least 5 photographers there, all local guys with good dlsr camera skills. So i should be able to show you guys how we roll over here in scotland once all the pics are edited.

Just need to claybar my accord and 3 stage meguires it up tomorrow morning before heading through to the shoot location. I will let you guys know how it all goes.

Nice man, teal doesnt seem to get much love over here. It should when its so easy to make it look good! BTW eg6 rear interior is pimp, i had that as standard in my old hatch. But the conversion is a pain in the *** if you dont get all the parts, and if you're unable to weld. I had some pics of mine from way back when i rust proofed from the inside out if you need to see any pics when you pick a set up.

that light blue "ek" gets an a for effort but a f on the final product. twine to tie the bike down..yikes. iscrape sticker ummm what does he scrape? the bike through a drive thru? jdm n00b badge..original. shocker sticker..im shocked to see one. camo molding good try but i cant really see the benefit. and it is barely street legal..in what way?
