you can't park on your grass if the car blocks or makes hard access to your front door. Its like the redzone/fire hydrant thing... Thats what a cop said to us when my mom was in a emergency and amublance had came, there was cars in the driveway, and one on my lawn, and the emt had such a small space to get the stretch thru the door, and a copy made us move the car and said its illegal to park our cars there becaue it blocks the doorway, but would let us slide this time since my mom needed to get to the hospital.

there are some areas that just simply don't allow you to park in your front yard to not make the neighborhood look ghetto. I personally think if you want to park on your grass you should be able to, though I still think it looks ghetto as expletive.
But nothing beats getting home late (early morning) and parking on the grass, right by your front door and walking 5 steps inside your house, or knowing your car is literally right outside

but this is also why I like garages that are connected to the house.
all in all, I think it looks super ghetto.. messes up your yard, and shows that you may just have a few too many cars laying around your house if one NEEDS to be in the lawn. I should also point out that I also don't walk on front lawns normally... so of course parking a car on the front lawn comes off as absurd to me.
