your next project.

I'm a big fan of keeping your car(well, modded car) as long as possible... but hey, when it comes between a place to live and a nice car... I'd like to think the car goes first. besides, where do you park the nice car? in front of your parents house? ..it looks MUCH better when it sits in front of your own house

sadly, I think my daily driver may be sold tomorrow... I need more $$$ to move out..
says the guy that had his car up for possible sale waaay too many times.

Yeah jdm BB4 is under wraps, so damn when my hatch is done I'm gonna go straight to my Lude. All my money is gonna go down the drain.
And hey, hey, hey it was hard for me cause of the whole theft thing, but now I'm cool cause I got a nice garage, and my bedroom window is directly above it and my 10mm is under my bed, so whoever want's to even try can lose a leg trying.

I wanted a project prelude so bad back in the day... actually got beat to buying a 96 prelude vtec by 5min! I lvoe those bodystyle ludes man, good luck with that project if you ever get around to it
by the way, the theft thing sucks.. cuase the downside to having a daily is, when you're out in the daily you can't keep your eyes on the nice ride
everytime I've taken my accord out, when I come back home I always have the biggest damn smile on my face to see my truck still in the driveway.. its like instant good mood, but just imagine if it wasn't there when you come home one day. you'll be pissed for having a DD, unless of course you lock your car in a garage with an alarm set on both the car and the garage.
oh yea, my new downside if I sell my DD... the house my buddies and I are getting will without a doubt have atleast a 2 car garage.. one side for my buddy's chevelle, the other for my truck(seeing as they would be the nicest, least driven vehicles at the house). I give up my garage spot by selling the DD.

sometimes you gotta sacrifice......a house is a house....id rather have a house than a car....i love my car...but if it came down to a house or a car...its a simple decision...but i also wouldnt put myself in that situation either....

Yeah I know those Preludes were by far one of my favorite Honda's back in junior high cause supposedly they were one of the only car's that could keep up if not beat an ITR. So I was fortunate enough to have two of my favorite Honda's, my hatch and my soon to be Prelude.
Yeah I know but my hatch will alway's be alarm active, steering wheel upstairs in my room, and no one's car but mine is in the two car garage. So my DD and my hatch will be in there, and hardly no one ever goes inside the garage but me when I need to wash or work on my hatch.
But damn James I didn't know domestic theft was that bad, is it worse in comparison to imports? Oh hahaha and on a side note I saw a kickass '67 orange Mustang with white racing stripes on some hugeass rear tires spank a Harley Davidson. It was right infront of me after I got off from work, **** was awesome.

its bad depending on what you have... I'd say hondas will always have a one up on just about any domestic since hondas are dime a dozen, parts can be sold off after tearing it down fairly easily, and figuring how to break into one has never really been that hard. sadly, chevy silverados much like the civic have always been on or near the top 10 most stolen car list. of course, trucks aren't hard to break into by any means either. I know quit a few people in my area that have had their trucks stolen.. as mine gets more flashy, I just question how long I'll have it til someone either takes it, or messes it up trying to take it

these are last year's lists.. by two different companies:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> the NICB top ten list—the number in parentheses is the model year most stolen:
Honda Civic (1995)
Toyota Camry (1989)
Honda Accord (1991)
Dodge Caravan (1994)
Chevrolet C/K 1500 (1994)
Ford F-150 (1997)
Dodge Ram Pickup (2003)
Acura Integra (1990)
Toyota Pickup (1988)
Nissan Sentra (1991)
</TD></TR></TABLE>
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the CCC reports the ten most stolen vehicles for 2005 are as follows:
2001 BMW M Roadster
1998 Acura Integra
2004 Mercury Marauder
1999 Acura Integra
1995 Acura Integra
2002 Audi S4
1996 Acura Integra
1997 Acura Integra
2001 Acura Integra
2000 Jaguar XJR
</TD></TR></TABLE>
note that the first one goes by model and not year and model, the year is just simply the most stolen year of that model. either list doesn't look good for hondas though.
man, I'm getting a little too informational in my replies now...
