There is one of those by my house, I see it all the time. It's funny, kinda looks like a little ford ranchero, or an el camino

Because I can. In a perfect world, all cars are tuned. I'm keeping it for a while (at least several months, probably longer) and it needs work as it is so I'm going to have fun with it.
You guys just dont understand my true addiction...
As for insurance I pay about $80 a month on basic liability with discounts on my parents policy.</TD></TR></TABLE>
damn man, how old are you and what's your driving record look like?
I pay $90/month for my truck with full coverage and my accord with liability combined, but I'm also almost 23 with a clean driving record.
btw, I was just giving you a hard time man.. don't take me too seriously, I'm trying to make 2 tons of truck fast.

I'm 19 with one ticket that should be null because I took a 4 hour safe driving class. I've got a safe driving discount and a multi car/multi line discount. I'm with statefarm...
See guys, its not that I want to get rid of the hatch... Its just that I cant realisticly have two cars at the same time. I'd be looking at a good $200 a month for insurance, another $100 for gas... Then I gotta have a place to park it...
I'm just testing waters on it right now... I dont even have the title yet I'm still waiting on the state to send it to me. If there isnt decent interest I'm just keeping it.

dude are u kidding me...both of the cars "realistically" are beaters!.. i have 2 cars, and i'm not complaining..just cause you have 2 cars doesn't mean you have to drive both on a daily basis..so gas shouldn't be a problem. it isn't for me at least.

I'd be willing to bet if you looked into having your own insurance policy it'd be much cheaper.. unless you live in an area with a high theft possibility or the ticket you had was for street racing, your insurance on a civic hatch and a civic sedan both on liability shouldn't be above $150. btw, I recall state farm being pretty damned expensive.
$100 for gas isn't **** either if you're talking about a whole month.
besides, you're still ahead of me... I've got a $285 car payment, $90 for insurance, and about $450 for gas(I REALLY need to start driving the DD more).. and that's monthly!
I'm not saying to listen to me just to keep the hatch... but man $300/month between two cars is pretty good when you consider gas is calculated in there too.
btw, just talked to rasbeary... that bastard has my DD loaded full of goodies for his car, I'm sure he'll be sharing pics in the near future.

Yeah I know I should stop being a cheap *** *****... I just dont wanna wait a few months to get back into the sedan game.
I have a nasty habit of getting myself in deeper and deeper... I've just started a new job that I'm not even settled in yet and I'm already thinking about getting yet another car.
If only I had any credit getting a loan might be an idea, but seeing as I dont and I already owe my step day about 1k...

pretty much!
but just pace yourself man, I've spent more than I should have on my truck... and I'm finally I'm a the point of realizing I don't need this project to be done asap(sure, I would like it to be), the less you rush yourself the more gets done the right way. I've stil got a few things planned for my truck, but I know I don't NEED to spend another $3-4k right now. I make too many silly deadlines that realistically have no meaning after I get to them.. I don't need to finish the project by the end of the year. and I know just about everyone that's into their car gets like this when they start making a bit of extra money..
for you, I'd say just save up and wait for the right sedan to come your way... then you'll have money to buy it, a DD so you can tear it down, and all the time in the world to work on it wihout rushing just to get to work.

I'm not very patient... a big problem of mine.</TD></TR></TABLE>
same here man... it's hard to be patient when all you think about is bettering your car in some way. ****, a couple weeks ago I was waaaaaaay too close to dumping almost a couple grand into my rear suspension.
luckily I've talked some sense into myself and decided against modding until after snowboarding season.

ha... I need to go smack myself around with a bat or something... Its pretty hard to just "talk" sense into me.
Up until recently since 2004 I'd had the '89 sedan. I've founded two ef sedan web sites, the first lasting over a year before I got fed up with the host site.
There is no 10 step program for my ef addiction. Even if there was I wouldnt get past step two...
I used to want an eg hatch really bad before getting my sedan, but after that it led me down a long road... My feelings for the eg have come back some what but it just doesnt get me hot like the 4g4d.
