Yeah but umm my dad's shop is like my source of getting all my repairs done and if he see's a dohc motor under the hood he'll snap on me so hard, so there's no point now and I ain't boosting no sohc.

I told him that, that I was gonna get either a usdm b16/b18 and get it bar'd but he still didn't want to hear it cause no matter what my car is gonna be a target to the wrong people (i.e. cops/thieves).

that goes for almost any modified car...especially a honda....do what you gotta do...

I think you need to make your dad realize it's already a target for the wrong people... I mean LOOK AT IT!

regardless, buying a gsr or an s2k isn't getting you any further from those type of people.. the style you like is obviously going to catch attention and doing it with a more expensive and newer car is only going to be more heartbreak down the road IMO.

sorry to hear charlie, but I see where your pops is coming from.. I get the same **** from my dad, and it does make sense.. though I don't see myself giving up a hobby because of what people might do..

well guys, last night i recieved a phone call at about 10:30pm. It was a private call and usually i don't answer them, but for some reason i did. Well turns out it was an anonymous caller, threatening me and my car!... =| ...i don't know guys. the whole conversation consisted of ...

ME: WHO IS THIS?!
HIM: don't worry about it bitch, just watch ur expletive car. i'm gonna expletive that sh*t up..

hmmm....as of that phone call, i've been paranoid to park anywhere! last night i parked my car in the back yard behind the gate since my mom had parked in the garage. and i'm looking into getting an anti-theft system...

i'm a little upset...today before school i talked to the officer on campus and let him know my situation, and now there are security gaurds watching my car...hopefully nothing happens...

it's really hard to say, since just recently i got a new phone, and only close family and friends have my phone number, i would say 15 people tops have it... so i'm a little worried..

Damn charlie thats harsh, my dad was the same about my old hatch, there was no way it was gettin a b16 put in. So i replaced it with an EG6. Any chance you could find like a 95 Si or somethin and transfer all your parts onto that...?

FreshEG6: I'm guessin that since only roughly 15 people have your new number that someone's just playing a joke on you. But just incase, kick you mums car out the garage at night, put yours in there and park your mums car right in front of the garage so there's no space to open the door.
