Well, tonight I'll be picking up a used TaG kart. Basically a "turn key" outfit, stand, spares, etc. The kart is now owned by the race engineer for Wayne Taylor Racing's DP program. He previously worked for Realtime Racing. The owner before him was Ryan Hunter-Reay!!

Then, on Wednesday, we will be taking delivery on Brandy's Fit. 2011, lease trade in, Sport model, 5 speed, All Season mats and trunk tray, door visors, and black on black!! What up, gas mileage!!!

This is the class that I would run and this is the track that the kart is geared for. In the parking lot, I hit 11000rpm and due to the previous owners' taste in brakes, I about went through the fence.

 

That kart stuff looks awesome! Congrats on the Fit.

Hey, this may seem like a noob question. Anyone know what a good tire pressure setup to start out with for my integra would be for autox? Yoko S Drives 195/50 on a 15*6.5 rim. I'd like to do a few rounds before I potentially think about new suspension and rims/tires. I don't know how I like to set up a car yet I guess...

 

Jeff would be the best to answer street/tire autox questions. I would show up with 36-38psi in them and go have fun.

 

I thought so as well Brad. I drive it daily on 38 and it feels good IMO. I just dont ever romp it around like I would in an autox so I didnt know how it would feel for a whole run, granted they are short.

rear's would leave em 38-40 front's are gonna be tricky to set-up. You should look at how much roll over you get. those side wall's are going to roll like no other. normally people say it's wise to keep as much as a 5 psi differnce. I personally think you really should be listening and getting a feel of what the front end is doing. Your going to have understeer no question's asked. Inspect the side wall's after each run and try adjust them accordingly. chalk them bad boys up so you can see how much your rolling. Like I said those s-drives are going to cave adjust your driving. sometime's slower is faster if that make's sense.

 

 

Yeah I had s drives for a few years. When pushing it, the sidewall would roll over and you could feel it. As a measure I would run them a little higher. I played with it a lot but I liked how they felt at 38. A bit stiff but whatever, the mpg was nice haha. 32-33 is great for ride comfort.
