Offical eH squad list.
And, that's them. Those dudes don't like to be overdriven, that's a fact.
Also, to what you said earlier. I don't know what your goal is with footage, but I love to be able to see my hands. To me, they tell the story. If you're just trying to show footage to friends, then the front bumper view is nice. I use it as a learning tool and without the hands, I'm not learning much except where my car is located, but not how it is "acting/reacting".

Will he drop that much coin?????
I would but they don't allow any type of buckets without harnesses and cage. I'm looking to running an SCCA track day in the summer or perhaps an EMRA time attack. So many things to buy... Wish I could be making a little more dough but school is most important. Once the semester is over I can grind full time. Might take summer classes too so I'm not sure how that will affect it. Regardless though I will make it out to an event. Major items to get are bodywork, tires, UCA bushings, brake lines, pads and rotors. Also want to get a black edition GoPro for the track day.
PS: I'd push that "bodywork" priority to the end of the list. At all costs...you should definitely do brakes and tires first.
The thing with bodywork is that it really can't be pushed forward, it's been too long that way and I have an image to upstand if you know what I mean.
I'm ordering Russell brake lines this week. Then going to try to install the new steering column when I have time. Bodywork or new pads/new rotors next. Going with HPS all around for street use and when the track day comes around I will swap new rotors up front with race pads (HP+, Carbotech XP8, cobalts, or DTC maybe). Tires will be ordered after bodywork and will me mounted and corner balance/aligned. Leaning towards 225/45/16 and 205/50/16 Direzza ZIIs. I know they are a little bigger than ideal but tire selection sucks and I have been wanting them since they were announced. Camber kits will also be installed. At some point the new steering rack will also go on. Hopefully my plans go through.

My bad, meant SCDA. EMRA is hosting an event at Limerock on April 13th, June 8th and August 24th. I'm going to shoot for June 8th but knowing me it will really be August 24th lol.

I think his point is that he doesn't really care about "track time". He is more concerned with the aesthetics of the car. To each their own, if everyone was into the same thing, this world would be boring.

What he mean's is body work can wait. No one is going to give a rats *** if you have a dent on the car while your on the track, it's not going to make you go faster. with that said good luck with all that. I don't know why at this point you want to be switching between full on race pads and streetable pads. You have yet to even understand how your car will brake while on the track. It's your money to waste thu not mine.
Its very simple, street pads will burn up at the track and race pads won't work in the street and will lock up very easy. You can't really have dual duty pads. At best you can get away with HP+ type of pads but then I'd have to deal with acid dust and noise. With HPS I can drive around and have good braking and not have acid dust making my Weds yellow. With some XP8s up front I can break to my heart's content at the track. I thought about the dual duty brakes but it is a compromise. 2 rotors and a pair of race pads will only cost maybe $150. Worth it IMO.
Its not like that either, in my book function and form go hand in hand. Its just important that I get the bodywork done now so that the car will be legit with the new wheel setup. My goal isn't to build a full on track car and just get seat time, its all around to daily, weekend meet/track. Regardless of when this year, I'm still going out. It might just push it to the end of the summer but I'm going to make it. No going back now haha.

Of course it can wait, it has waited for 2 years lol. I'm just saying I can't throw on the Weds and nice tires because when you see it you'll be like ah sick, but then when you see the other side you will cringe. Don't care about others opinions like that but I feel the same and can't have it. I also have a name to represent and it is an eyesore. Not my personal name per se, but rather my group's. Hopefully you understand where I'm coming from.

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=379673_0_0_ it works rather well. I used it while I was daily driving the sedan. I had to clean my wheel's weekly because of grim and brake dust build up.
I'm draggin' like a dog's butt with worms, today. My alarm went off and I thought "nope, back to bed." But, I got up and got moving. I got to the gym and it was just eh. The incline trainer felt "hard" even at a "normal" level for me. Core stunk and my swim was a bore. haha. So, lets see what work brings.
In better news, I got my HANS, yesterday. I installed the hardware and wore it around for a bit. It felt a lot better than the Defender that I tried on.

I ended up getting an Adjustable model since the DefNder that I tried on wasn't that comfortable. It will last me awhile, so I figured that I might end up in different styles of cars. I got a discount on one, so that helped. I had wanted one and Lemons requires a H&N device. All that added up, I'm good to go and it fits a lot better than the DefNder. I still haven't had it on with my suit or in the car. I need to get a belt with 2" straps up top for the HANS.
