A mutual friend works for Andretti Autosport on one of their Indy Lights cars. They were having a Championship Party for RHR mixed with a surprise party for Michael's 50th birthday. He hit me up on Facebook saying "You are the only person I know that is really into racing. I can bring a guest, do you want to come." I cleared it on the home front.

We met up and I got an in depth tour of the facility. I had seen Hinch and Seb, a Lights driver, but that was it. We were standing, talking, and Mario walks by. I was in complete awe, which normally doesn't happen to that extent. Anyways, I didn't know that he would be there. Nelson said that he had only seen him once before. I have only been within 50 feet of him, before. I just wanted to shake his hand and maybe get a picture. Well, they had a little VIP deal set up, which basically consisted of the Andretti family. Mario finally came out to get a picture with Hunter Reay. It was my time!! haha. Luckily, Nelson talks with Jarret Andretti, John's son, often, so he hopped in to take the pic. And, BOOM, there it was. Signed, sealed, and delivered. It was about 11:15pm, at that point, and the music was atrocious and loud. But, that made the night and maybe the month. haha.

All in all, there was tons of cool stuff to see. No Chevy motors in site. I guess they are like top secret, given the Honda vs. Chevy deal. One cool thing was there were IndyCar floors laying on racks, so I got to check them out. They have a duct/carbon tube that cools the alternator, I didn't take a pic, probably isn't really "that cool". Just given the fact that I thought the floor would be "flat". haha.

I had bad luck with the Miata, the other night. So, I checked the codes, MAF and Random misfire, due to the MAF. I'm going to drive it, again, tonight. Lets see how it works out, this time. Brandy says no, maybe she is right. But, the total of ten miles that I have drove it, I loved the 5 that weren't with it in limp mode.

 

They are very nice car's. Set-up right they are even better. I love my friends.

 

Well, I passed on the Miata due to the "practicality" side of it.

So, I told Brandy, no Miata, so that means that the hatch is getting a brake upgrade. That started, yesterday, bigger front and rear. Time to party.

I will be selling the brake set up. It can be mixed or matched however, but I would like to keep pads/rotors together.

Front Calipers for Integra or Civic Ex/Si.
Front Brembo blanks, 1 day on them, and Cobalt XR3 pads.

Rear Brembo blanks and Cobalt XR5 pads, ~10 days on these.
