so, i got this off of the other page. i find that whole site very exciting, entertaining, and every other "e" word you can think of.
i like this 30 day idea. a quick model of what i think mine will look like.
dos:
-take a family photo.
-no cussing, i have made huge strides, but it still happens.
-read x amount of pages, any book, with words.
-draw something, i used to love drawing, but "don't have the time" anymore.
don'ts:
-energy drinks.
-eat out, at all.
-limit tv to given shows.
-maybe, no facebook for a month, what!!
there is also a simplicity video on there. it is funny because it got me thinking, go figure. i had thought about this over the weekend. so, i live in the midwest and we have pretty cold winters. i have a ton of shirts that i do not wear and we also have a lot of plastic bags from the grocery store. granted these are just t shirts, but hey whatever, something is something. well i could sort out say 3 shirts per bag and head downtown. roam the streets for the homeless and give them each a bag. one, it rids the house of extra clutter. two, it helps those who do not have as much as i. three, it is something simple that could go a mile. sometimes less is more, just like cars.

We rarely go out to eat. My wife is pretty good about feeding her family the good stuff: http://spaininiowa.blogspot.com/
we rarely eat pizza, it has to be one of those "hey, i think "pizza place" sounds good." then if we agree, we get it. it is normally mexican or a sit down burger type place, ie chilis or bj's brewhouse, etc.
