Offical eH squad list.
I dont know who put that thing together. You laugh, but I dont really take alot of time out of my day keeping up with all the trendy groups like hellaflush, fatlace, etc. Im not big into cosmetic things. My main interests are getting a car from point A to point B as quickly as possible. The distance from point A to point B is typically 1320 feet. Having Fatlaces does me no good. Lol.
Good call.. I didnt even pay attention to the mount not being bolted to anything..
I couldnt put it past anyone to do something like that. Theres some nutty **** being built these days it seems like,.

lol i decided im keeping my green machine. Im planning to pick up a daily sometime before the first snowfall.
The shock perches or adjustable spring seat? Does it sound like a good idea to you? Not to me. 1st of all...shock perch cups/seats have a spiral groove that the oem spring or after market lowering spring sets in. Ground Control or any coilover spring for that matter has a flat top and bottom because they simply sit flat on a flat adjustable spring seat or collar. Another problem you're gonna have is that the ride height will not be flat front to back unless you have the access to a bunch of different height springs to test.

I was contemplating removing the entire adjustable spring seat itself, but you bring up the issue of the Ground Control spring just sitting on the shock itself...
How about using a Dremel on the actual perch itself to shorten it? That way the spring will still seat on the flat adjustable perch.
Still sound bad?
Car is used to get from point A to point B. Nothing more, nothing less.
