well here my issue. i dont want to spend money twice if i dont need too. if i do want more power and the clutch lets loose after that i'll end up being pissed off, so it like do i just bite the bullet and do it as means of preventable face palm for myself? so just end up face palming myself over it. Im in no hurry and not that im ballin out of control, but i am willing to spend more money to do things right the first time now, so if it takes me a year or so to get the car where i want it to be then thats what it takes. not in a hurry to build it. i want to enjoy this build this time.
ps its my homies spare motor it was over bored before it became a boost motor. he went from n/a to boost. so thats why. if it where up to me i would just go 85mm from the get go.

84.5mm is prob max you want to go on a turbo motor tho. Ppl have ran 85mm but it usually leads to headgasket failure when you run that large of a bore on a forced induction engine. Not saying its a gaurantee but it definatly get really iffy. Most will tell you: No Bueno. I bored mine to 84mm and now I wish I would have done a 83mm bore. Reason being is because I will have more chances to rebuild the block if i take it out 0.5 mm at a time.

The head I have now has been port and polished but not CNC p&p. It should be flowing pretty effeciently as it sits. Id just like to get this damn thing done for now and start saving some money
