Looks like I'm not the only one thats going to visit their family.
Haven't seen them in 11 years and I'll have to meet a squad of people lol. My mom has 8 siblings and 5 of them got married after I left and had kids so yeah theres quite a few uncles, aunts and cousins to meet. I got my flight booked and will be there for about a month, hope to find some EGs lol.

Dec. 26th and come back Jan 20. Going to go to Ipatinga - Minas Gerais, Brazil and go to the beach and a bunch of towns where relatives live. All around that area though.
Hi Squads. Damm, I missed a lot.
Gabe- fresh paint & fresh make over of the bay looks...well FRESH!

i think a 24.6 which put me third. my average lap time was a second faster than the next closest guy though.
that is how dark it is in there. lol.

then tell me what it is?? you adjust anything? were your tires low on air?
i agree but disagree. they are fun for sure. they are quick..ehhh..depends on the car. last year without vtec i got walked all over the track. granted the driver helps overcome that but i would get dug out of corners by mini coopers. lol.
also this year i should make it to nasa time trials. we are guessing my car will be a ttc car. a buddy runs his s2000 in that class. my power to weight is what will put me in that class but yet i will get walked by him. he holds track records for the class at a few different tracks. luckily he is on my side and wants to see a ff in c that is competitive. hopefully ill be a d car but that is for the end of the year anyway.
mac cars can be fast. granted most newer cars have it so it is just like life. evolution happens and with that the progression kicks in. if you want a double wishbone front why not go with the older tsx? many people were successful within the us in wc or conti/koni challenge.

You need a K series
Have you ever gotten your car dyno'd?Yeah I think a TSX will be a nice car for me when I'm a little older and need a nice family daily. Maybe one day I'll be rolling in something like this
no i havent got my car dyno'd but if/when i go tt it will have to happen. i got all over it this weekend on my way to my parents house. that thing screams like a raped ape. there is an uphill left..downshift to 2. come out of it hard..all the way through 4th..down to 2 into the driveway. felt amazing and probably sounded even better. lol. nothing like heel toe down a gear and seeing the tach chilling at 7200+ rpms. *disclaimer: i dont condone driving like an idiot on the street. my parents live out in the sticks so i put myself at risk and noone else beside maybe a cow.* lol.
me and my stepdad put some work into the passenger sideskirt since i was sent the wrong side. i had modified it before but it wasnt completely to my liking. so we cut it down more and bent the tabs. it fits pretty well now..enough so that i am happy with it. we were going to put the aerocatch hood pins in but i cant really say i like how they would be mounted. so im going to have to sit on the idea until something else makes better since to me.
after that we went out to eat for my birthday/step dads fathers birthday. across the street from where we were eating is a soap box derby hill. that stuff is alot more serious than what i had expected. the steering setups on those dudes are also very complex with pulleys guiding cables everywhere.
as far as a k series. you send me the money and i will go k series. lol. a k series wouldnt be the answer because time trials is all power/weight based so i would just move to a higher class at that point. but i bet a k20a with some cams would be a blast. lol.

yeah i think there were 3 cautions within the first 3 minutes. the last one was my buddy..he said some dude spun infront of him so he checked up and around it went. when i got blasted from behind i should have let that guy go then hooked him for driving like an idiot. you definitely dont go into a hairpin wide open and expect to make the corner. or maybe he thought i would be a good brake regardless i made the pass so i was in the clear.
Heel toe is the best thing I've ever learned. When I was 14-15 I started reading and then moved onto videos and racing on video games and then eventually when I got my license and put the hatch on the road I started just focusing on improving my rev matching because I always did it from the get-go but it would always have to adjust a bit so I would do that when coming up to stop lights or down an exit ramp, just real easy on the revs nothing really above 4 or 5, and from then on I just started to add braking into the mix. At first I would step on the brake too hard and over rev and let go too quick of the clutch so it wasn't doing anything lol. Then I moved onto braking lightly and practicing the foot sliding over without affecting the braking and after that it wasn't more than 2 weeks where I was confident in doing it anytime. I remember when I was with 2 of my buddies and one in the backseat was like come on claudio heel toe before that right and I got it way up in the revs all nice so it was cool haha.
Nowadays I heel toe everywhere, some people tell me its not required on the streets but I argue otherwise. You don't need it but its certainly proper to do. A lot of time when you have to stop and take a right at a street, most people just coast it out in neutral but I go into 2nd and turn. It helps with emergency breaking too. Its the most fun thing to do though..
Jesse doesn't even know what rev matching is
lol I gotta explain it to him sometime, he knows how to do it since hes been driving for so long, just doesn't know about it. Will take him 5 downshifts to learn lol.

yeah i heel toe at almost every stop light or stop sign. if i didnt track my car i probably wouldnt do so just because there is really no need unless you are an "engine braker". the sound of a good heel toe is always pleasant to the ears..but obviously you dont hear much in your daily as i dont in mine either. lol. go out to the track and listen to some guys..sander a member on here. my oh my.
