Don't take as an elitist statement. The ITR came with a perfect short throw right outta the box. Just one more reason you need to trade your's in already.
Any other compact Honda and we would be in agreement.

I don't think it cost more, from my understanding they used that tip on the US exhaust until they ran out then switched to the newer style. The tips were left over from another exhaust type so rather than put them to waste they used em up.

Not necessarily, the tip was used on multiple exhausts but yea, no point in tossing the extras.
