Does anybody remember the white Mugened out R, with the full cage gusseted with dimple died sheet metal welded to the pillars? I was wondering if anyone has more pics of it, more specifically the cage. I building one, and looking different ways to do the pillars like that, and his was really nice, irc.

you really can't reach the stock hooks on the subframe with that lip on?
not hard to believe since its so low

you could tow it with the hook (although it'd probably get scratch badly )
but how would you strap it down on a trailer or something?

most likely a USDM Jam or similar type show where they convert their cars to the "USDM" look. Total opposite of what we do here. He probably gets all the brownie points for those wheels and his USDM parts

Thanks for the pics guys those are really nice, but this is the best dimple die tied in setup I've seen on Papadakis's H4 car. I just found it. It looks very well done! I can't find any more better pics, but here it is:

He lives the life I dream of. He has been paid to do just about every form of professional driving from Honda whether he was good at it or not. Livin the dream....

I miss him as an OG drag racer
I grew up following drag racing when he was in his prime from his yellow EK running 8s, then his civic FWD H22 tube chassis, then the beast of a civic with the NSX twin turbo

but he gave it all up and went to drifting , but gotta admit the s2k was sick, even after he crashed it and they rebuilt it
now he's back again...interested to see what he does

the thing I liked about him the most and you can see it in his pic ^^ is he's more than a driver but works/build/maintains his own car as well
always saw him in the pits wrenching away while some other drivers sit and relax...

 

He started with an EF and that **** was amazing.

 

It is amazing how he can adapt his driving skills to any form of racing he tries. Its freaking amazing
