That's exactly what I thought when I first looked at it. I think the effect was needed to take the water out of the shot.
Look at the rear window, it's wet; hence the dorifto...

what Dooster was thinking of is the Mugen Civic Type RR in Japan. The 300 units sold in 13 minutes.
Obviously the US Mugen Civic Si's didn't sell in 13 minutes as they are FOR SALE at dealerships
