I just installed my Mugen Intake on my ITR. But I wasnt sure where one of the parts went.
For those who have the intake. Where does the metal plate/shield go? Its the one in top right pictured below.

Metal plate/sheild goes under the frame rail to cover up the hole cut in the body where the stock intake snorkel went through. The purpose is to block water/debris from entering the new intake opening as it is directly below that hole.

Are you sure? The intake is ITR specific. And they dont have the hole you are talking about. Anyone else know where it goes exactly or have pictures of it installed?

I've only installed 2 and read the instructions
You cannot mount the sheild if the intake is installed, you will want to mount the shield first (unless you want to remove your front bumper). There should also be some extentions that have bends in them, you will mount those to some surrounding bolt holes (going to be 10mm head) and then affix the plate to the mounting brackets. It's harder to explain than it is to do.
Edit: Here is a pic of it installed and the bolt holes that "aren't there"

Weren't the F3 engines just based from the B20? I'd imagine with the specs (someone wanna buy this one and tear is down?
) of the engine you could replicate it quite easily. You could tone down the specs too so it would be more driveable and last longer
