What do you mean "97" ITR, you mean 96 spec brochure or 98 spec brochure or do you mean the general catalog for 1997? Because mugen didn't technically have a "1997 Mugen ITR" setup

man I wouldn't have thought that Mugen would make 2 different brochures just because of a couple little changes. the body stayed the same.....and it isn't like Mugen made that many internal parts that they would need to make 2 brochures for the same car. although I could be wrong which I probably am.

4 lug VS 5 lug holmes, the question here is what WHEELS were on the car, and that's a huge difference

Oh yeah DUH!!! I should have known that. still though....could have been MF8's or the smaller MF10's. Didn't they come in a 4x114?

Lots of people don't like to think technically, it happens all the time ESPECIALLY w/ RNRs and MF10s/10Ls. People like to think that MF10s came in 4 lug which they didn't and people like to think that RNRs come in different sizing/bolt patterns which they didn't.

And this
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by UltimX &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
just out of curiosity, which rim did mugen decide to put on the 97 itr in the brochure?
...

I was going to guess the mf10's but this is why i'm asking. thanks guys</TD></TR></TABLE>

Makes no sense... if he is talking about a 1997 JDM ITR it's 4X114 so there is no possible way it could have MF10s... if it's a 1997 USDM ITR then it would not be in a Mugen brochure, that's why I'm trying to get this straight before I answer.

Exactly.

Which is why I posted that I thought the M7 was it. I faintly remember in my head seeing the Mugen 96 spec ITR rolling on 4X114.3 15" M7s.

At Nopi Pittsburgh I placed second in the JDM street class. To a S2K with KO parts. he claimed to have a real J's carbon defuser but I don't know. he might be a member on here? seibon carbon lip, hood (mugen style) and some other parts. for the most part his car was USDM. I believe he has Volk Te37's which is the closest to JDM that I saw. oh well....hence the reason NOPI sucks......they couldn't tell the difference between real jappy products as opposed to KO parts.

That's what happens when you live in Nopiville, but knowing I have other Mugen heads to play with next year we need to do team Dirty Mugen and setup together.
