Just as an FYI Mugen actually painted anniversary MR5s at the factory after they sold like ****. They turned the left-overs into final versions, that's why you will see a lot of "painted" Annis that are all a similar color. I've seen around 7 sets like that. </TD></TR></TABLE>

That may be true, but I'm going to assume that based on the (low) quality of the paint jobs done on the wheels that vega_box and those in NZ have, they were painted Anniversary editions.

I would rather have the silver Final Versions based on looks, so that makes sense that the 20ths were unpopular. I've seen a lot of painted sets as well.

I wouldn't mind driving an Aztec Green DB2 with 20th Anny's paint matched in Aztec Green

But I still just really want Silver Final Versions on my black DA9 (conservative).

Until then, I have to settle for these

These wheels below - what would they go for in good condition? A friend had a set on a Mazda (of all cars, 323 4wd GTX BFMR I think) and we really didn't like them. That was 10 odd years ago!

They're just regular *** 14" MR-5s. I got the wheels a long time ago for $500 (probably cheaper now), but then shelled out another $220 for lug caps (that took forever to find separately).

I paid $720 total. Not a spot of curb rash.

Well, if that's in US$, that's about $480 more than we would have flicked them for!

Hard to find? MR5 is probably one of the easiest discontinued mugen parts to find

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the 20th Anniversary Editions that his friend posted earlier

Yes 20th Ann. Their not common here, same as Finals. plenty of 14in run of the mill ET45 MR-5's though.

you got proof of this dear siR??

Only reason I ask that is because that would defeat the purpose of them selling the Center caps with them. Then they would have bastard Anniversary Center caps floating around the wharehouse from the ones they swapped over to look like regular mr5s.

Unless they sold the center caps seperate like they do with the mf8 and all.

If you are looking for a hard-copy signed by mister mugen, no. But If you talk to people they will tell you the same. The Annis bombed hard. They painted them a more desireable color and probably scrapped the caps.
