obviously you don't know how exciting it is for a broke person to come up on hard to find parts.
him painting it isn't taking away from the value of the object. If it makes it more presentable to him let him do it.
either way its a loose loose situation.
If he rolls around with a bright yellow bumper (and a green short sleeve shirt

people are going to think he is a ricer for having a two-tone fiberglass circa 1999 front bumper, only because they don't know any better and realize what he is really rocking.
But if he paints it all the Mugen ****** are going to think he is tainting a holy grail aero cover with cheap acrylic paint.
In the end if he is happy with it so be it.
I would have done the same thing...but we all know that already (see sig )
And sean. I don't think you are searching hard enough for that wing. I just found one in the states ready to be shipped if you have $500 PM me

i mean im not knocking him for it, just i guess i have more patience i guess..lol.. or insted of rolling around with a yellow, or spray painted bumper, he could always roll around on his stock bumper til that one got painted.. lol

yeah he could.
when I got my anniversary edition, they didn't have tires but I put my car on jack stands and put them on the car and just stared at my car for 45 minutes imagining how cool my car is going to look.
I almost went out and got some cheap Star tires just so I can roll on them

hahaha vega i still dont have that green shirt. but you know EXACTLY why i did it, for myself. Are you stripping the aniversary wheels to show the teal? and my wheels are staying around along with another set i will get later after paint, they are my optional SiR wheels.
It WILL be painted soon by a local and I'm going to be there most of the time helping every step of the way with preping with me doing all the parts disasemble. So dont worry Wray it will be taken care of even if it does make a lil extra work for myself later stripping the dupont paint off.
