by the guy that invented the things that hold lug nuts on nascar wheels

oh yeah he also hand built a custom mclaren race car replica with a k20 motor in it

he pretty much cut out the original half assed repair completely, bent a new piece of steel on his engish wheel im assuming. welded it into place starting on the outter working in, and then ground the welds down flush.

 

Header repair looks amazing

 

yeah, the outcome speaks loudly of his talent.

the reason i ask is that i may need to have a mugen header repaired myself.

 

well im sure i could talk to him for you. pictures speak louder than words, which is why i posted. you can see the extent of the damage and the quality of the work itself.

not to get off topic, but heres the car he built i was referring to:

1400lbs, k20a3(very quick even with this!!)

he built everything himself besides the front suspension arms(even built his own muffler haha)

nope...bought em from a guy i work with...he had em in his garage since new. He was going to put them on his CRX but he thought they were "too ugly" so he got some American Racing rims.....center caps, aero disc's and even rims still in the bags un-opened

tell the dude, ebay has $13 fart cans. He should be able to get them from the same place he got the rotas...maybe even a knockoff twinloop

did he get the uber cheap rotas? if hes gonna rock em, he needs to rock them to the fullest. Rock the caps also.

because its better than yellow on a red car, looked better closely matched for a small meet, and it's all getting repaired/repainted soon anyways. whats your problem with it?
