Car was stolen from my "secure" apartment complex in Miami, FL. Not even a trace of how they got it past my single exit 24/7 gated manned security. It's a big conspiracy and the property management has been totally unhelpful.

Had full coverage but it won't get me back the cost/value of all the Mugen/Time/Energy/Love that I put into that car.

-----------------------

On a side note, and maybe I shouldn't say this, but if any of the thieves happen to be reading this, you got every part that is in FL, and what's left in WI is garbage that my dad refuses to throw away. There is NOTHING else to take, not a bolt or an accessory... Just so you don't waste your time trying to break into my apartment looking for anything you missed... Everything I had was bolted to the car or in the trunk, and I'd be happy to know that you're not coming back.

-----------------------

On another side note, to all of you guys, you may want to talk to your insurance companies about getting "modified car" insurance. I don't think the prices are that much more per month/year depending on your age/driving record, but without that it seems like you're basically screwed. Full coverage still has a comprehensive limit on it, so you won't get full/partial/any value on your stolen parts without it.

damn that really sucks to hear man.
the only thing I have heard for that modified car insurance thing is you need to have reciepts and all and most people don't think of doing that. Let alone myself.
No security??

I'm sorry to hear that. We all understand about the time, $$ and effort that went in to your car. Hopefully they catch the bastards that did it even though I know that won't offer much solace for you.

ya i'm sure its expensive and seems more sensible to just buy a new wheel rather than wrap it?

^^ Your local Honda dealer sells leather wheel wraps for about $100 in a box and about 150 installed. I guarantee a current Civic wrap would fit that wheel perfect.
