i pulled a mugen no-no

used a gen1 oil cap on a k-series VC





worked fine until I could find a good deal on a gen2 that actually fits and got the right one to use...

 

Yes they are rare in that color and size. They are even more rare if you can find a set with the original wheel disc covers.

Although, it doesn't seem like this is the original finish of the wheels pictured. In the photo it looks like someone resprayed or has changed the color of the wheels to white. I could be wrong about that but they look that way from the photo. You may already be aware of this but I thought it was worth mentioning.
