i was thinkin the same thing. i like the style of aerospokes. i could care less what anyone else thinks. its my bike and im the one riding it.
personaly i could care less about njs. my bike doesnt see the track anyways. my bike sees over 100 miles a week when its not raining.

Sorry I think its just a little funny how everyone gets into "fixies" and makes it all about style and not performance. Plus have you ever seen what an unplugged bar will do to a thigh in a crash. It aint pretty. Plus aerospokes are sometimes unsafe for road use because they can break and then you may want to kiss your *** good bye, not tomention they weigh like 100 pounds haha. </TD></TR></TABLE>
a list of things you should do...
1) learn about frame size and/or seat positioning. it will help with "performance".
2) get an actual track frame w/ good components. it will help with "performance".
3) stop spitting urban bike myths that you read on the net.

About 3 days after I got it. No NJS(hahaha) or anything special, but it was cheap and is reliable and does the job as a commuter. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Almost as unsafe as riding a conversion that is too big for you without clips huh!? lmao

Like I said it was about 3 days after I got it, clips were on after that. And its a little to big for me. I got it for dirt cheap and its just a nice little bar hopping, grocery getter. I have another bike that is for "performance". I didnt come in here to start ****, i just think this craze is funny.

So funny that you hopped on it and quickly posted pics on your myspace, then try to downtalk the stuff you can't afford huh?

I know posting damn pics on myspace! haha.
So its bad of me to think that unplugged/unwrapped bars are unsafe? Also, because i think aerospokes are really weird for everyday/commuter use. And you're right I cant afford them, thats what I get for going to college and being broke...haha.
None the less there have been some badass bikes posted in here. Sorry My commuter is not up to H-T's standards.

Speaking of safety, hanging your bike up on the door is dangerous. Plus have you ever seen what a hanging bike can will do to a persons head when they surprise you and it falls on their head. It aint pretty. I guess trying to be cool while posting your cheap conversion online is what its all about now.

Sorry I stated that I think its dangerous for those things. I never stated that my bikes were better than anyone else. I just think its dangerous for the already mentioned things, but I guess I agree with everyone else it looks good, but just dangerous.
I dont know why I try I already dug the hole haha.

It was just the way you came off. I don't like aerospokes and all of my bars are wrapped and have bar ends... and AFAIK there aren't any bikes in here that are as unsafe as the one you posted. It was just kinda ironic how you came out swinging and then posted the epitome of what you are preaching against - that being safety and doing something because it's trendy (any real enthusiast wouldn't dream of riding a conversion) and performance (again, the bike you posted is a joke).
With that said, no hard feelings, welcome to the thread. Stay positive and everyone should get along just fine. Then a year from now you'll be bashing the newcomers
