What do you guys think about MKS toe clips and toshi straps?
mks toe clips are pretty much the standard metal toe clips.

i think toshi doubles are the best doubles on the market.

nothing beats clipless

Double straps are actually easier to get in and out of than singles and are wayyy more comfy. Doubled my confidence on the bike when I switched over to them. My All City's have been have been holding up really well too.

Clipless is the bee's knees though, I'm thinkin about getting into a set just for races.

oh sorry man, i'm hardly on sffixed anymore but....

if u are talking about the FTP then it's a deda newton pista stem , 90mm, with deda pista bars. 31.7 mm clamp dia and -23 deg drop. i wanted a negative rise stem and it's one of the only ones out there that i like . i bought the stem+bar combo off fixed.gr/nyc for like 95$ shipped used w/deda barwrap

im hardly in the drops when i'm riding my loops because it's pretty intense, but i like it for what it is!

Thanks for the information. I really like your Fuji Track bike. I currently have the Thomson Elite X2 stem, same length as yours, 90mm. Aluminum made.

i have b43s and they arn't exactly light, but then again...what can u expect with a 43mm rim constructed from alloy

edit: president, do u keep ur saddle angle that steep or was it just for the picture?

I ride my saddle like that. So it doesn't hurt my *****. Those are my stock rims, 40mm in depth, took those stickers off too.

640 grams a rim, is that considered heavy?

Nathan, how much does your carbon HED3 rim weigh?

i can't recalled exactly but the last time i weighed my wheelsets was last year

saavedra turbo rims laced to 36 sansin hubs - 1850ish grams
deep Vs laced to 36h da7600 hubs - 2050 grams (eek)
hed3 with track axle - 875ish i believe

i ask about your saddle angle (and i know that personal preference takes precedence) , but i find that when a saddle is level, it reduces the pain on your taint and also reduces alot of the pressure off your hands. I've had saddle pointed up ever so slightly and it's hurt my lower half over long rides, i've had saddles pointed down ever so slightly and my wrists/arms hurt. obviously it's up to you, but it's just my .02
