http://www.bikesdirect.com/

Go Under ROAD Section/Tab and all the way at the bottom they should have some single speeds.

built a new wheelset for my piece of crap. Deep V's to Formula hubs with Vittoria Kevlars. Painted the rims Ford blue to match the tires...looks perfect. Don't mind the stem...my 3T one stripped out on me . Check out the saddle...NOS gangster...too bad my shorts already bled onto it

That Windsor looks like a decent deal...300 bucks for a complete bike isn't bad. I would recoomend to anyone that wants to start out riding a track bike, to get something cheap(new entry level or used conversion)...to make sure it's something you want to spend money on. Then, once you get the riding down, you can figure what you want out of a bike and build a custom one.

You like a comfort saddle or a track saddle? flat bars or drops? track geometry or road geometry? front brake or no brake(get a track fork or a road fork)? etc etc etc.

found another 3T stem in my parts bin...threw it on. Fits and looks MUUUUCH better!!!

BTW- I have an extra set of wheels for sale if someone needs them.
Rear wheel is: Suzue basic hub laced(with new spokes and nipples to Mavic MA3 rim. Buit by me- very strong...rode downtown Seattle everyday for 6 months. Front wheel is a stock Bianchi Pista. Have Conti Armadillo tires on them...rear tire is almost toast.

Well some of you seem very knowlegable, so figured it would be a good place to ask.

I have a Fuji Ace at the moment, its alright, fun, custom painted it and did some other stuff, but anyways, my friend has the Fuji Track and it seems like it is much more fun to ride.

Would I be able to switch my rear hub to a fixed? I know the rear fork is wider, but do they make spacers?

Thanks alot

Everyone down in the city has these. I thought about picking one up myself, but the no brakes thing bothers me. On a side note my girls mom has two of these bikes and a couple other road bikes, but she actually races on the velodrome with her bike opposed riding them in the street like everyone else.

Has anyone ever seen the guys who race in the olympic who do the velodrome? Their legs are like tree drunks!

I was a little skeptical at first with the flat bars but it turns out I like them even more. They are really comfortable.
