thanks guys

as far as bar tape goes i haven't found that i need it and i really like the way it looks but i dont know if this is a good comprises but i was going to get some biking gloves if i feel the need and if thats not safe then ill defenently put some bar tape on it
i just really need to find some bar ends had a close call where the end of the drop hit my leg real hard wouldn't be fun if it went through the skin
know anywhere i can get some?

any local shop should have some bar plugs, and if you buy some bar tape they come with it

measure your inseam to find out what size frame fits you best... then go to bikesdirect.com. voila!

I removed the reflector and that allows me to get a better kick on the little tab, then just slide my foot in. BTW, you can adjust the toe clip. There are 3 allen bolts that you can loosen, then slide the toe clip out if you have a bigger foot.

Like I was told... practice! The more you practice doing the little kick on the pedal and getting your foot in, the better you'll get at it. It sure saved me some money. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I was thinking about pulling the reflectors off as well. I'll check out the toe clip as well too.

I only rode around for half an hour yesterday, just up and down some hills and worked on trackstanding. Then I went fishing.
