I suppose you're right about the Windsor fork. hehe

And training for 10 miles? pshhh. The hardest part of commuting on a bike is finding the best route to take (without getting killed). Use the trainer for building a high cadence.

It would've been 3-4 weeks for a Windsor fork to come in, so they said they could do a CF fork for $30 more.

I need to get some new pedals or straps though. Every time I try to get my feet in them the straps get pushed off to the side. I bit it leaving my garage yesterday.

My commute is 15 miles with about 7 or 8 steep *** hills. Probably going to attempt half of it to my friend's house this weekend.

I rode the hills around my house today on the Windsor and it was brutal.

Probably going to go to a park nearby tomorrow or Thursday and ride the roads there since mountain bikes aren't allowed on the trails.

I gotta get back in better shape before I attempt the 15 mile commute to school. $4.29 for 87 is pretty good incentive though.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I remember having the hardest time with the pedals. I removed the reflector and that allows me to get a better kick on the little tab, then just slide my foot in. BTW, you can adjust the toe clip. There are 3 allen bolts that you can loosen, then slide the toe clip out if you have a bigger foot.

Like I was told... practice! The more you practice doing the little kick on the pedal and getting your foot in, the better you'll get at it. It sure saved me some money.

that's actually a really good deal. there was a complete 08 tk2 on ebay that ended yesterday that i jokingly bid on, and it only ended at $100 more than my max. it ended being ~830 shipped. i should have re-bid on it.

i would have just flipped it for profit. i don't think i'd need another aluminum million dollar future bike
