Don't get me wrong, the body is super super clean and I like the UK headlights and corners, but the height and wheel fitment is dangerous. I saw this car driving through a relatively smooth parking lot at about 5MPH and the rear tires were leaving the pavement because it only has about 1" of suspension travel in the back and a really beefy rear sway bar that has the endlinks kinked up in all kinds of weird angles...

Yeah had Diamond Racing Steelies. The suspension setup is the main thing that terrifies me. Our roads are REALLY bad especially the highway that runs to our part of town and there is no way with zero sag and 1" of suspension travel in the rear that the car doesn't leave the pavement constantly. Not safe.

PS: Gee...I wonder why he's always "changing" things up...maybe it has to do with continuously breaking things and/or wearing them out so quickly. 165's & 195's...uuugghh...that's just silly on a 8.5" and 10" wide wheel.
sigh...my clutch is dead... happened about 3 weeks ago...4th gear at 7k rpm and all of a sudden, nothing. i can select all gears....but when i release the clutch, its like neutral ha ha ha
wondering if i should sell my current Tein Flex for a set of GAB SS with 10kgmm/8kgmm springs and use the profits for the clutch as im super broke.. or should i just wait for the money to roll in by slowly saving up and get some exedy 3 or 4 puck race clutch (which i hope is enough for my B20 200whp and 22kg/mm setup). i do love the teins though.. at softest settings my 5month old baby can fall asleep in his car seat hehehehe
just not having much good luck with this car... bad mechanic causing all kinds of **** with the block... and just when ive decided ive had enough with him and want to change workshops....this clutch thing happened.... at such the wrong timing.. the eve of a major holiday here (Eid) and when i needed the car for a long distance trip.
seriously considering of selling the hatch and getting a super stock, SOHC, super cheap 4 door EG and K20 the farker. :D can have my fun on track days AND bring my family around too..hahaha
car is currently in my condo's parking collecting huge amounts of dust... cant wash it too as i cant bring the car out to the nearest water tap. heart breaking to see it like that everyday when i start the engine for 10 minutes to warm it up.
anyway... anyone here ever used 15" with +32 offset? hows the fender clearance? thinking of pairing it with either 195/55/15 or 205/50/15 tires.

Madman you should look at LSD motorsports clutch kits. Not sure on how much money you have to spend but im running one of their sprung 6 puck kits on my LS turbo for like 4 years now and have really liked it. They run about $300.00
They have a sprung 6 puck which will hold 232ft lbs also for $234.00

and is the Dragger - 6Puck Sprung Disc suitable for a weekend car with the occasional track days? (and by track i mean track ...not drag strips) or just drag racing? heh...
anyway.. a couple of problems about me ordering the LSD kits
1/ im on an entirely different continent so dont know how long itll take to arrive (thats if they even do intl shipping)... coz im thinking of sending the car to the workshop and opening it up to CONFIRM its the clutch...if its confirmed the clutch, then yeah, ill go ahead n get a clutch.. dun wanna end up buying the clutch and finding out its actually the gearbox (or something else thats broken)...and i doubt the workshop will like it when i leave my car there for an unknown period of time waiting for the clutch to arrive.
2/ from the Application List....i have no idea which to choose.. coz they state by car and i tend to see by engine (which is wat we normally do here since theres alot of transplants going around)... im basically on a 95 hatch (EH Chassis) but with a JDM B16 conversion (out of an EG front cut, hydro tranny) with a B20V. so yeah...heh
anyway regarding (1)...perhaps some of u can gimme ur inputs... when i start the engine..put it in gear and release the clutch...
-1st gear, speedo stays at 0 and its quiet
-2nd gear, speedo goes up a lil and its quiet
-3rd gear, speedo goes up a lil more and makes a very slight noise
-4th gear, speedo goes up a even more and its a lil noisier than 3rd
-5th gear, speedo goes up a even more than 4th and its a lil noisier than 4th
speedo goes up max at about 30km/h.
