((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
picked these up for my hatch for cheap about USD 35 today....which is almost half the selling price of calipers only...

caliper+rotor would cost in the USD 12x range...and i have no need for the rotor as im planning to match this with my 282mm BB1 rotor so that im able to fit them under 15" wheels.
calipers pictured is from a silvia...slightly smaller than r32/r33 skylines...but heavier (4.7kg) since theyre cast iron as opposed to skyline's aluminium...still lighter than EK9's (5.2kg) caliper though...heh
another local here has already installed R32 rotor+caliper into his EK hatch and made a very good writeup on ek9.org HERE

I knew about that one, I figured the source was credible, apparently not. lol. That one has EMS as well, doesn't it?
Got mah head back. Hoping to have it on tomorrow. Should be interesting to do it while swapping timing belts and the tensioner while the motor is still in the car

yayaya
Put in some time earlier today on pulling my head, im, crank pulley, tensioner assembly, old qsd bracket. Will probably finish it up tomorrow. Was baking working on that thing so I had to leave
Had to put my plate on first :D

stock piled on some oem manifolds. Brack one is ported by Elvis, top one is stock port w/ direct port NOS tapped, left is str8 oem

current head intake ports with my hoodrich chair cushion thinger to plug my water line

Have one that's welded up(thanks to hatchbone)
Suspect mark on timing belt(I think it was cut at the honda meet by some hayter(probably k series guy))

head off, just your regular ol jaydeeem open deck h22a block/arps/rmf header/y21 lsd trans

put the qsd billet mount bracket

And lastly the belt yet again.

If you don't like my hipstagramed images, well then I'm sorry lol
