If you lower it 2 1/2" you will be fine I'm sure. Depending on the width of the 17s I'd got 205-35 for a 7" or 215-35 for 7.5 or 8".

Yeah I was 19 when I bought my car and made about $8.00/hour at the time. The best way to build a nice car is to be patient, take your time and do things right the first time. Seems like you are headed in that direction though.

thanks for the advice, im pretty picky on what i do if i cant afford to do it the right way then id rather not do it at all, doing half *** stuff will make u have too fix it again later on rather do it right and not worry about it.
