Hatchy69 - looks great man! Fogs are fine
Bay is getting there slowly, pretty happy with it atm

edit:
Damn, crazy. I wonder how they were driving when that happened - interesting. If anything you would think the studs that go into the drivers mount (LHD) from the bracket would shear first.
My current and previous EGs have both been tracked multiple times with just the 3 mounts (hasport on yellow car, innovative on silver car) and ive never had an issue.

just picture a slammed white vx on powdercoated chrome wheels. lol
That happened to me when I launched my car at the track on stock suspension. So much wheel hop that the rubber broke in the driver's side mount and my engine hit my hood. Now I have 2 little dents.
[QUOTE=WhiteSlipsWithStickers;46015433]That looks to just be an E-Bay duckbill with a long LED like an SIR spoiler. Congrats on the new car. Post up some pics.
yup just a cheap ebay Spoon Rep ( Spon) lol
wish it was a Sir

It looks good though.... A lot better than the BYS spoiler.
they also prevent the engine from entering the passenger compartment in the event of an accident
here is what can happen when you "clean up the bay and free up weight"

I have a LOT of friends with VWs and you truly have to be dedicated to the brand to put up with all the little electrical BS stuff they do when you try to mod them. Check engine lights are a way of life... The newer cars aren't as bad, but if you sneeze too close to them once they are modded the check engine light will come on....
There's a reason why someone started making these stickers....

Just invest in a VAGCOM cable and a cheap laptop and you'll be good to go.

I've heard about the VW electrical problems... but I've kind of always wanted one and it'd be a change from driving Honda's. Plus I heard that once you've worked with them for awhile they'll give you a good deal on one. If I do get one it'll probably be a golf and I wont do anything more to it than lower it and put some wheels on it to daily. I started there last night, going to be working 6 12's, yikes.
X2^
Does anybody know if a 92-95 si hatch 'rear disk brake conversion' will fit our 92-95 civic sedan? And why this setup? because im getting it for FREE just need to make sure it fits first. Thanks

It should. If the trailing arms don't fit, just use a torques bit and remove the hub/brake assembly from the trailing arm and swap it over to your stock trailing arms. If you have any questions shoot me a PM. I've done a lot of reading up on rear disk conversion stuff lately....
Has anyone replaced trailing arm bushings? I know there's a tool that punches them out/presses them in, any experience with this? Mine have been making sounds for years and I'm sick of it.
