i like those lights.. and if they light the road really good...i like them even more ha ha ha...should put in them clear smoked corners too...

ive been trying to find them here to replace the stupid TYC lamps i have on (came with the car when i bought it) but i cant seem to find the corners in this country... they only have the corners for the 4 door...

headlights are pretty easily found though

Every time he post people make comments about the hood lift. When you have a big bad H2B you have to do that.

Didn't know you had a B series tranny ;-)

 

H2B sits way higher and more straight up and down in the engine bay than a regular H22 and H22 Trans. Unless you chop a hole in the hood you have to prop it way up like that.

 

yeah. had a buddy with one in an "ef" and sitting in the passenger seat you could see the back of the headlights.

If I didn't have to do it I wouldn't have lol. I can see my headlights under my Hood at night. I've got a decent pic showing clearance ill have to post when I'm off work. Beside the fact that my oil cap hits the hood as it is now. And even with the monster prop if I had a map sensor on my the it got crushed by the hood. Never did I think I'd have to explain the hood prop more than I had to explain how I got a b series transmission on there for those that were oblivious to the h2b haha

I have a solution to your hood issue. Heres what I'm in the process of doing. Just got the valve cover back today. Its been lowered so that it clears the hood. I had it made so that it still looks like an oem valve cover but I saw someone cut the whole top off and just weld some sheet metal over the top. Also ran into a problem with a oil cap so I got flush mount cap.

 

Thats awesome, post pics of it all when you get it installed to see what the height looks like too.

 

12.41@109 was the best last year. Y21 non lsd, was on 24.5x8 slicks. Way too big for the power but I got them for free so I couldn't complain. Going 23x8 this year with a few more changes I hope to be running a high 11on stock bottom end.


I seen that a while back linh, wasn't sure if you ever had it finished. The skunk 2 IM sticks up high as hell too. Where'd you get that oil cap thing? I can probably machine the top of a spare cover and have someone weld some aluminum flat on it.

 

Thats true I forgot about that. I purchased the oil cap threw revengecycle.com but there site isn't working for some odd reason.

Im used to calling it a hatchie because thats what my daughter calls it.

 

I call it a bubbly eggy hatchy with the v-attacky. I think what I hate is when some1 says (in a FS thread) "vtec pops hard." OH SNAP!!! Never mind the rust and salvage title... as long as "vtec pops hard" I'll take it. I'll trade you a TT z06 w/ nitrous plus cash on my part. PM'd!!!!!!!!!!! DIBS!!!
