((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
Slammed, dumped, cambered, chromed, stanced, wannabe racecar, every now and then hit the road course, auto-x blah blah blah it all doesn't matter. The cars themselves are what we all have in common. I don't like the current slammed and poked trends and will admit I openly hate on them, but when it's all said and done we all share a common interest, Hondas. We all log in to the same sites almost everyday from our phone, work, house, friend's house, while we are working on our cars and love it no matter what. I've been on here 7 years and trends have come and gone like every other area of life whether it be clothes, house styles, video games, furniture, everything. Everything changes with time and some people decide to keep their cars the same way for years like me or they like to change things up and try new things. No need to hate in a thread like this where we all try to get along and share a common interest.
Thanks!
The best part is, I could dump a K20 and Recaros into my hatch and rock Rotas and ebay exterior parts and get **** from a tool box with a stock D16 and a BYS spoiler.

I hate when people with a stock D15B7 that smokes and is worth less than the wheels and coilovers on the car talk smack to people with K20s. I barely spend any money on my car now and all the stuff I did buy in the past was only if I got a smokin deal on it. All the OEM parts on the outside of my car were brand new, but all staggered out over the years. My wife, house, and savings is more important to me now than what baller part I'm buying next..... I just don't get the same satisfaction out of it that I used to.

Mine and my wife's car and my wife sittin on the hood too haha.

My car is sick for real right now. I am having trouble getting the timing belt tension issue worked out and I haven't even driven it in a couple months. Kinda sad. A new T-Belt, crank pulley bolt and tensioner spring will get ordered soon enough though.

New aftermarket rear quarters for $37 each (vs $300/ea for OEM), the body work ran $250 per side painted, $40 tip, so $614 total. I'm very happy with it, the driver's side isn't perfect but you have to look pretty close to notice.
Happy 1/1/11!
