honestly its kinda dumb looking, not trying to hate or what ever because I like your car the hood just doesn't look good I mean with the duct in the front and race seats, mirrors etc. you kinda have a "race" looking going on...............with a wood hood. I guess I just dont get it.

 

Eh I dont really like it either but at least its not rusted hood.

 

Ridiculous looking, Would look 10x cleaner without it.

no, actually never been out to a meet yet. I know I'm missing out and have to get to one in the near future. Just had my first baby, so car stuff is on the backburner for a bit. Keep up the great work, still shaking my head at how good your ride looks.

Hey guys, just picked up a '95 hatch and I have some questions about suspension + wheels and tires I'll be buying within a week or two.

The car's lowered on Progress springs w/ stock shocks (Progress says it gives a 2" drop). I'm gonna be buying 15x7 wheels, and I was wondering what size tire would be best? The car currently has 15s, with 195/50 tires and it looks great. But all I can find on Discount Tire is 195/55 (with the 15" wheel size), and I'm worried I'm gonna encounter some rubbing issues.

Any suggestions, or experience with 55 width tires? Thanks!

 

205/50/15 tires.

 

Would those fit alright? I don't have a problem with wider tires (obviously; who would? ), but if I'm gonna have to work my fenders like a crack ***** then I'm not sure I'm game

 

i go with 195/50/15 i ive never had problems with those. 205 is gonna be pretty wide if your tryng to lower your car

 

I have an eg slammed on blades and I have195 50 15 and doesn't rub unless I make a pretty sharp turn ...just depends how much ur droppin it.....

 

I'd go with the 195/50/15's too.
