does this allow people to sit in the back???
only thing stopping me from getting a cage.

 

is the pw **** considered kinda ricey? is that what it is? i dont like the chrome mugen or spoon bars, have got a black neuspeed one right now. i really like the pw design though.

 

I got the pw three point bar used and I think its great. I didn't like the brown so I stripped it down to the bare aluminum. I should paint it though.

 

I like the black PW bar. And the black EG6 bar.

 

That black one is hot. I'm think about having the wife get it for Xmas.

 

Here is the deal, with a cage like his you should be wearing at least helmet (IMO harness and seat made for the use of harness would be good too). If you get in an accident the bars infront of the seats will do more harm than good in an accident (to your head).

With a 4pt I still would not ride any one in the back since the main hoop would be infront of the passengers face much the same way as the front bars are on his 6pt. + if you ;had a diagional bar and harness bar that would be a big no no for riding people back there.


Why do you want a cage?

 

Thus, I call them cusco death bars. Stupid mod for cars driven on the street. Roll bars are all right provided they have plenty of padding ( on me for not doing mine yet) and NOBODY ever ever rides in the back.

 

 

people hate on the cusco cage because they can't afford it ... let alone it is a BOLT in CAGE... A lot of people have these cages... Just my .02 cents

 

give me a [freak]in' break, an autopower is made out of the right thickness steel to be SCCA legal at least.... there is a reason cusco's arent. you can [freak]in' keep it, i don't want any of that garbage.

If you are just show-boating your car around, without any intentions of using the car at a track, but want the "look" of a race-prepped track car, then go ahead and get one. Just remember though...

One day, that unfortunate, unexpected, and unwanted accident may come, where you are hit by some a$$hole, and it may be such a bad hit that your car might roll over, or your roof may give in... At that point, your Cusco cage can quickly become the worst thing that you have ever invested in, and will possibly cost you your car, but most importantly, possibly your life, and possibly others lives!

Also, like stated earlier, NEVER have anyone in the back seat area of a car with a cage, no matter what cage it is! If what I stated above happens to you, well, that would be the "other peoples lives" that was reffering to.
