With how many similarities the two cars have, I dont see why it wouldnt fit. Have you checked the part numbers between the two cars with sparco's website? Doesnt that harness bar mount using the factory seatbelt mounting locations on the B pillar? Of so, you could check the distance between mounting points between the cars and see if they are the same.

part numbers are different. I told the kid I was not sure if it fit dc but he said he was pretty sure and bought it any way so we will see lol............no refunds now though

Those are mounted the right way, on the harness bar portion of the cage. They wont compress the spine there. Basically the same location most harness bars (i.e. Sparco, and most bolt-in and home made cages) are located.
