not rips/tears around the inner/outer cv. another thing that the manual said to do to check for bad ujoint was push in & out of the clutch while driving. if it makes the infamous clunking sound then chances are ujoints are bad. i'm gonna try replacing ther rear upper diff mounts & insulator again

honda doesnt sell the ujoints by themselves. you have to buy the propeller shaft & rear shaft. honda doesnt sell the rear shaftbany more.

i always get my parts from hondaautomotiveparts.com see i need #7 but they dont sell it anymore. maybe i can find one used & in good condition. i'm also gonna check out the condition of both #8's to see if maybe there loose.

it doesnt help that i'm getting jacked on my tax return. 670 from state 250 from fed. i made 20k in 08 compared to 25k in 07. last year i got 1200 from state 800 from fed. next week i'm gonna be ordering the front & rear lca bushings from honda.

Yea I had to replace my carrier bearing a few months1 after I got my wagon , sucked . But worth it , because it got rid of the vibration I had . They originals had 300,000 miles on them . Just an FYI . I had a bitch of a time findiing someone with the right kind of shop to mount the bearings .

Not a dam thing . Most of them just laugh and ask if I'm ever going to get a real car . But , if you can get them to listen they eventually respect the wagon . IF THEY ARE TRUE GEARHEADS .

NO - at least not without an adapter.

The 99-00 Si has a completely different plug than the 90-01 Integra and 88-95 Civics. If you're good with wiring an adapter harness can be made, but if you're not a wiring guy adapter harnesses can be purchased to make it plug and play.

I had a 00 Si head unit in my wife's 92 Civic and I used an adapter harness made by a local radio shop guy who was into Hondas. This was probably 5 years ago so unfortunately I have no way to contact the guy.
