Was there ever a warranty fix for a floormat peg on the del Sol's? I found a place for it to install, but I wanted to know if I could get a new peg / grommet kit for free and have Honda do the work (again, for free)?

At some point. I probably got about 40 or so miles before the gas light even comes on. Y7 fail/win.

No but it's only like $3 for the grommet/peg kit from your local dealer. Just ask for the one for the 96-00 Civic TSB referring to the floormat hook.

Unfortunately the tool you use to install the grommet is some special tool that I don't have. If you know someone at your local dealer though I bet you can get them to install it for free. I have a friend who works there and i'm thinking of having him do it and tipping him a couple bucks for it.

 

Lol, I wasn't commenting on how much power he was making. But on the reliability of something like that.

220+ on stock z6 internals is pushing it.

 

I think I'll have to ask Chris in service to hook me up.

There have been people making 250WHP on stock internals reliably. The key is the tune. (and having a good condition Z6)

my cars been making ~220whp for 2+ years.. absolutly NO problems.. still runs almost as hard as day 1 lol

Recaros are nice. I have hevy *** RSX seats.
When I swap mine to k24 I'm gonna have to get something light.

 

I had mine bone stock 17lbs and 390whp for like 2 years now. And I still have same engine just put bigger cams and ball bearing turbo runing 14psi making 418whp.

We're talking about the Z6 though.

 

Z6 dont make alot of power but they last long.
