damn... just from messing with the passenger power window switch wires for my map lights turns out that none of my windows work at all now. I checked all the fuses, relay and now im thinking its the master switch. Im going to pull it and try it on a local sol I hope thats what it was .

hahaha

i'm not sure on IA now that the sol is all apart i'm thinking of going all out with a wire tuck, all new seals, custom wiring, etc may have to debut it at Truck Bash here in Indy August 15-18 with scouts, I hope again, from Honda Tuning that would give me time to rebuild the motor and find some nice seats.

evening ******....dead again I see.

so I've decided on my next paycheck I will be getting everything to do the retrofit...which is turniong out to be about 50-75 more than expectd in total. I will e getting everything from retrofit source(or something like that on ebay) they have all the HID products you could think of....even the Bi-xenon setups if you want a REALLY involved project.

so far TSX kit 350 shipped(no longer have them for 325 ) which includes:
-projectors
-hella ballasts/igniters
-phillips 4300K D2S bulbs
-custom wiring harness to make it plug and play

Misc stuff from hardware store (sandpaper, paint, JB weld, L brackets, etc) 25-30

Some extra's that I believe haven't been done before on a honda (that I can find at least)

"Gatling gun" style shrouds- 45 shipped (best looking shroud I've ever seen)

&

thin guage aluminum diamond plate(this will serve as the cover to hide all the brackets/mounting points and only make the shroud with the projector sticking out of it visible just like an OEM HID headlight....will be painted black) 20(even though I only need a 6" x about 20" piece smallest size they have is 18x24 )

3" hole saw 15(to drill the hole in the diamond plate for the shroud and projector to go through)

I've kept my plans pretty secret till now, so I figure I'll unleash my plans since it's coming so near

holy **** almost a Will style post LOL

I can do it, it'll give me practice so I can be ready for mine

Haven't done one in a few years. Did it on my friend's EG with OEM headlights and s2k projectors....total nightmare sanding out all those little flutes....fingers get sore just thinking about it LOL

sucked because after I helped him with about 8-9 total hours of work(mostly snading the flutes making the lenses look ****) he rear ended some lady while he was trying to show off for some girls on the sidewalk not even 2 weeks later....destroyed everything on the front end

yeah I want to really give the appearance of a true OEM look not this hokey ****(no shrouds and can see all the brackets) some people do and then charge 6,7, even 800 to do(including the parts, but not the headlights)

for those wondering here's the shrouds and the ebay seller I'll be going with:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

EDIT:

nope no pics of my friends setup. didn't think to do a how to write up with pics when we were doing it and didn't do any after shots....might have a shot of the wreck somewhere though....not pretty.....her truck's rear bumper was at the perfect height and just long enough to kill the headlights

lol i wish i would've known. some kid locally is supposed to be doing it and was like $50.... compared to like the $300 for some retrofitters on HID planet n stuff.

i have aftermarket 1 pc sol lights, with s2k projectors.. AP1 and oem ballsts/ignitors... and e55 shrouds.

the headlights are now apart but the kid is slacking on meeting back up with me. says he cant finish them and is too busy blahblah blah. all because i wanted to save some $ by having him do it for $5o instead of $300. ugh!
