ok just picked me up a set of them skirts today now my question to u is how da hell u mounted them??????? theres all those clips on the side most break when u take them off so did u drill holes for those or didnt use any or what and im assuming you drilled holes for the bottom what did u use to hole em in place?

 

HAHAHA...gotta use ur imagination!!! first u're going to cut away all those tabs(useless). trim away all excess material. it's your choice whether you want to mount the skirts from the bottom or top, i personally mounted them from the top due to fear of the skirts sagging over time.

yea i know that but was wondering if i had to cut things off besides da tabs and im guessing theres no need to drill holes in the side panel ill try installing them tomorrow since im ofrf but mines will b painted to match the vehicle color

 

^^still need to find me a set...bumpers are off and in the paint shop...wheels came in yesterday!!!

 

question did u cut them from the front or the back? i cut mine from the front only did ` side so far and wow i had to do alot of trimming and shaping and i dont like how it looks cuz i also have the mudflaps so i used them to slide the skirt into and i had to put a scrrew to hold the front piece but looking at urs looks like u still have the fronts so im guessing u cut it from the back

 

bumpers are off and in the shop for paint...should have back sunday...wheels came in this week...still have to roll the fenders and adjust my camber and coilovers for fitment...will have pics up when I get it all done

 

well this is what my db looks like now a big difference from when i first got it and heres a pic of the BAD sideskirt install (for those who wanna use skirts) dont cut then from the front like i did it comes out messed up now i gotta go buy another skirt

Hello all. Been awhile since I posted. Just got my wheels back from the blaster today and I'm in the process of polishing them... not a fun task by no means. And I scored a sunroof visor for 45 shipped from a member on here. Pics later on.

 

I can't believe you blasted a screw through your fender.

 

yea i dunno what i was thinking when i did that but imma buy a new skirt cut it from the back remove the mudflaps n bolt it on it will cover the screw hole my dumbass made

 

At least it was just the fender. Could of been worse

 

yea just the fender just 1 screw and its a small and short one but either way still a hole there

 

Yeah it sucks because it's gonna start to rust

 

my recommendation to My1stTeg93 is to cut the front part of the side skirt contour to the sharp of the fender.
