what about the headlights? theres a guy selling jdm 1 piece halo's for 100 bucks same in coupe and sedan?

 

50/50 red and clears came stock in the 90-91 four dour integras, but you would need to swap the trunk lid to the 90-91 trunk lid also to make them work...as for the wing, not a fan...There is one on my car right now that was already on the car, definitely gonna be takin it off...and I would either stick with the stock headlights or do the jdm one piece headlight...this is all just my opinion, it's your car, but I think it will give it the best look

These are aftermarket halo headlights and IMO don't really flow with body of the 90-93 integra



But yes they do fit both the coupe and sedan.

 

Hello all. Just bought a black 1990 DB1 about a month ago. I had a 78 first gen civic cvcc 1500 before this with a swapped b16a. But the famliy grew and it was time to make the move to a four door, so it came down to a 90-93 accord, EF civic sedan, or the DB1. My mom has a 92 DA and i'm rather familiar with b series engine as opposed to a D series or whatever comes in the accord so this is the direction that I went in, and seeing what some of your cars look like, I think I made the right decision. The body is in pretty good condition but I need a new drivers side fender and there are a few dings that need filling, but all and all it's good concidering it's a 20 year old car.

Well enough for now, I'll try to post some pics in the coming days.

yea the ones he was selling was like those halos but in clear not black but ur right after looking at the pics on the site the jdm ones do flow better with the cars body style.

plus those aftermarket headlights give awful light output...worst than the USDM headlights. i think people just get the ebay headlights because they are more accessible than the JDM headlights, also friendlier on the wallet. but in my opinion, just tough it out with the USDM headlights and save up for a pair of the JDM headlights, that's wut i did at least. i use to own a DC2 and EJ1, and finding JDM OEM parts for those thing were easy as hell to find. now that i own a DB1, it's teaching me patients!!! finding OEM parts is hard unless u have the right connection and that too is a battle in itself.

right now, im looking for a Carbon Kevlar Hood and no one in the market makes it, other than Aero Kit Inc. and their product sucks....fitment is terrible. i remember when i was looking for a kevlar hood for my 94 civic, it was a piece of cake!!! man i wish it was the same for the DA/DB1.

 

still looking for a set of mud guards and stock headlights if anyone has any they want to get rid of

 

stock headlight i find em out here from time to time they are not really expensive from the junk yards out here

radiator cracked on my causing the car to overheat, which I believe caused my fan switch to go bad, HOPEFULLY!!! because that's the cheap route otherwise I will have to replace the fan relay...radiator is already replaced

finally was able to say goodbye to my black db1

then picked this up the day after i sold my black db1

damn...can't believe you let your black one go!!!...So the radiator has been replaced and radiator fan switch, fan still not kicking on...tired of dealing with it, took it to the shop for quicker results...hopefully will have it back first thing in the morning and can run by my paint and body man to let him price out the bumpers being painted

 

LOL REXONE this is a DB1 forum only get that black thing outta here (jus Kidding) i dunno rex i wudda kept the blk db1 vs that wateva it is lexus or benz cant really tell

 

did u try and check if the fan motor is any good? u do that by running the fan directly off the battery and if it is good then chek the fan relays in the fuse box under the hood

 

yea used alligator clips and ran to the battery...fan motor is good...relay is the only other thing that I know to check but that's another $120, sucks!!!

 

picked up a db1 not 2 long ago...bout 2 start puttin sum luv into it!!

 

Keep us updated...went and talked to my body man today...should have the bumpers painted and back on for new pics in the next week

i didnt really need the black db1 anymore. didnt want to deal with the stress of it being stolen especially down here in san diego where the mexico border is minutes away. at least with the lexus i can have peace of mind and park it anywhere without worries of it getting stolen. plus i needed a bigger more comfortable ride.
