i wouldnt go that far. most 17"wheels weigh more than 16" and 15" wheels and don't necessarily handle better. I'm not hating on the wheels they are sweet, but i would never rock 17s on a DB</TD></TR></TABLE>
we can still be friends
yup brice is right. great rotational intertia because of the rim being bigger, then also they should be heavier in theory because of more metal. i roll 17s because my **** would look DUMB on 15s

no...just you..
....correct me if i'm wrong...what you have is an h-series motor with b series transmission right? is that to reduce the issues that came with retrofitting the H transmission in and the drivetrain problems associated ?</TD></TR></TABLE>
It's an H-series motor with a thick adapter plate that gets mounted in the factory H-series bolt holes and has the offsets to house the B series tranny. Also included is extended axle tidbits as it offsets the tranny from it's factory location in the chassis.
The main reason why they created the H2B setup is because all H-series trannies.........suck taint. Even the Lsd Equipped tranny still had worse gears than the D-series trannies. Hell an H-series tranny makes a LS trans seem short if that puts it into spec for ya. So instead of shelling out all the bank to have a dog box made you can do the quadsports kit or whoever you choose and do the H2B conversion for about $1800-2,000 depending on deals and stuff. Then you take a 14 sec swap and make it low 14's high 13's doing only that. Then strap on a P28 thats got an ITR setup on it and your deffinetly in the 13's.
Easily put, the H22 was all wrong from the factory and they made it better through other cars lol. The stock P28 (SOHC VTEC ECU) will run a H22 down the track faster than the stock ECU, a chipped one for DOHC for a B-series will run it even faster!!
IMO, best bang for the buck swap out there!!! All Motor that is.
Ohh.............My $.02 cents

Yup, few advantages to it. Dont have to deal with the cable linkage, better axle angles, better ground clearance, better trannys

Ill keep you guys posted on how i do

I rock 17's and they are light (6.4kg)
15" is to small for a DB imo, i cant really fit smaller than 16" due to my brakes, so my track rims are the stock ITR 16" rims and daily are 17x7" +42

i agree wholeheartedly. dc's can get away with 15s but they just seem too small to me on db's. i've had 15s, 16s, 17s, and 18s on my db...currently have a set of 17s. 16s are perfect, 17s are good depending on the style and if you have a lip kit or not...

No... he's speaking of his only. With the kit he's runnin on his DB, 17" wheels suit the car well. 15's look good on DB's, as do 16's and some 17's.
