DA Integra's Only
Damn, what are those... 18's? I noticed you just did a full repaint, what color is that?
I'd imagine pictures don't do it justice. Props on the time and patience.

They are 17's the lighting throws the color of the wheels off a bit in person they look much more bronze. The color is BMW Steel Grey Metallic. And the mirrors are the stock manual RS mirrors.

H1 cars using a K or H series engine must weigh at least 2350lbs. I'm guessing my car will end up a lot lighter than 2350lbs. Car is completely gutted except for a hollow dash, seat(lightweight), steering wheel, carbon fiber sunroof plug,FAL rear hatch window, hollow doors(no windows), etc. I'm also waiting for my Tilton floor mount pedal set. I'm going to move the drivers position as far back as I can (wanna be touring car style). I will have to add ballast to get the car up to minimum weight. For obvious reasons, I will add the weight towards the rear of the car, down low. Exact placement of the ballast is unknown untill I get the suspension aligned and cornerweigh the car.
After all that takes place, I'm sending my Koni yellows to Koni to get revalved for stiffer springs (500/600/700F, 900/1000/1100R). I plan on using a Ground Control/Koni yellow set-up. Can't seem to find a better suspension set-up for the DA. I'm not a fan of Japanese suspension components, unless I can get some custom Showa units with input from the Formula 1 department
Once the car is finished, I need to play around with the different springs to see what the car/me likes.
I also weighed the B-series and H-series tranny myself. There was less than a 5lbs difference. We used to build many H22/H23 engines for TC Kline when he was racing in the IMSA Firehawk series. There are many things you can do with the H22 to drop the weight
Heres a link to a thread where some guy weighed the H and B parts on the scale. The pics no longer work, but its still informative/eye opening.

Thanks for the response RC... there is also a set of 3000 series koni's for the DA chassis put together by tom fowler at OPM. they use either the 3001 steel body of the 3002 aluminum body shock. your project looks great, I wish I could see it in person. did you move the H22 back and downwards in the chassis when compared to the b18 placement?

No problem MSchu. Didn't know about the Koni option from OPM. Might have to look into that in the future. Do they have a website?
As far as the motor placement, making sure that the axles are straight was the main priority. The motor is not any lower or moved further back than a B-series.

Nah, I don't really know a whole lot. Just another club level racer trying to finish the car without using Visa/Mastercard's help, lol. Other than the pictures I already posted, its just another gutted DA. I'm waiting for parts so that I can get the cage put in. Once the cage is done, it'll get painted. Then its just a matter of putting everything together.

nah, you can see a fuel pressure gauge next to the regulator. i'm talking on the firewall all the way to the left(usdm passenger, his driver)
