Vtecs and non vtecs are two completely different things, you can't compare cams from one to the other. The fact that their not impressive on Mattb16teg's car means nothing.

Question for you though. This bra has the fender parts as well. Think i should toss them on?? i guess ill toss them on and see how it looks but i duno. i thought it looked lame

ive heard the 403's do pretty well in LS's so i think i might go with those but im still not sure yet. maybe drop those in and go get it tuned or somethin.

Yeah do something like that. I wouldn't expect any crazy gains though unless you build it from the block up. For what you want to do, just mess around with it for acouple days, I wouldn't go any deeper than just throwing cams in, tuning it and seeing what it does. In LS's it's going to be boosting you torque or mid-range a bit. These engines weren't meant to be revved high at all. The most I would take them is 8k although I know 8200 is possible on a completely fresh stock rebuild, it's pushing it.

I'm speaking from research alone and what I've learned from my buddies at edomotorsports. They rebuild LS's annually all stock because they go by a rule book. They've gotten it to 140hp to the wheels like this. It's not completely stock though, they're allowed a .20 over or something like that so compression was bumped but there are no cams or anything like that.

92-93 type R lip got it for 60 bucks, and it took a beating this winter and still in one piece, i got another one just in case i wreked it but it held up great
