Hey Knowledge, how fast where you going when the accident happend and how did you install your harness? Is it crossed behind you or are the straps parallel to each other and do they bolt down to the stock seat-belt holes in the rear? Or ar you using a harness bar? I want to know if what people have been saying about harnesses without rollbars or harness bars is infact unsafe, I've seen tons of videos of people on the track in semi-built track cars or type-r's with harnesses bolted down behind them with no sign of harness bars or roll-bars at all. You can tell these people aren't newbs in the videos because they're good at getting around the track so it's not like they have them installed unproperly. Many people say it's not right to mount a harness without a harness bar or roll bar yet when you buy harnesses, the instructions clearly tell you how to mount them and there are no rollbars or harness bars in the pictures or process for mounting them. I don't know, it just seems like it's a myth yet it makes sense at the same time. I understand when the harnesses are wrap around they need to be wrapped around a rollbar but when they're meant to be bolted down, wouldn't they still be safe in an accident if there isn't a rollbar for them to go over? Would they really infact crush and pull you down in an accident? I just can't see that happening unless the accident is really really, really severe like a head on collision with another car going just as fast as you where, then maybe, what do you guys think?

haha this reminds me of some dude that swapped a single in his DC2 wit hjdm front since the buyer low -balled him

 

I actually tried a sohc in the bay with mount brackets from a CRX it doesn't work they seem to have their own special mounts.

I understand I am pretty abrasive. But it was a genuine question...Why did you paint it white and not black or pick a different color, and he wigged out, telling me i'm a dick and i don't like you. It was a pretty overboard reaction to a random question.
