No stock DA in the color BLUE ever came with color matched moldings.
Which blue are you looking for?
I know of Concord Blue and Captiva Blue and both came with black moldings from the Factory.

Truth, pardon me for the misinformation as I haven't even dwelled into the rules too deep and THX!

Wasn't your da white or was that the homies ride? Ya'll switch up the rims too much it's confusing, lookin' fresh nonetheless.

WRONG. Look at DATZ weaksauce's old DA. It was never repainted, factory paint.

You are wrong. Captiva blue tegs came with painted mirrors not moldings. One of my old tegs was captiva blue. That's a nice teg though

The worst rim(after it was cleaned and scrubbed):

This is the beginning of my wheel restoration. I'm doing one at a time, I don't know how I'm going to paint them yet, I just started cleaning them out with regular house hold products, degreasers and whatever I could get my hands on like scuff pads, scrapers, and a big *** wire brush. This is also the worst of the bunch which is why I started on it, if I can successfully do this one, the others will be a breeze. White is the color of choice, probably frost white to match the DA.

A before and after pic

The Damage

After sanding and scraping for an hour or so with breaks inbetween.

Anybody have any tips & tricks on how to get into the inside corners of the spokes?

WOW 07's got all the wrong info. I know for a fact that Pete's car was painted. Clearly since NO DA EVER HAD PAINT MATCHED MOLDINGS. Only Aztec Green, Frost White, Milano Red and Canadian Granada Black GSRs ever had painted moldings. Get your mind right son, then come talk to the Big Boys.
