why buy a car then at all? it only depreciates value and you have more than 1? no one cares to talk about investing here, because everyone knows a car is the worst invesment so why talk about investments here? lets talk about investing in quality parts into your car that actually have function

 

actually i disagree. I've made money on my car. I've had 2 insurance claims in my favor totalling 3100 dollars. i bought my car for 2800. I'm pretty sure that i could sell it right now for 2800 bucks if not more and still come out ahead. so your statement isn't accurate. Although i would admit that my case is not common.

I spend dough on my DA because I can. I also have a genuine love for the DA (I was 14 when they came out) unlike the boatloads of Honda noobs that get DA's because theyre cheap and are trying to get into the Honda game. Plus, the money and work that I put into it is all part of a learning experience. I havent paid anybody to do any work for me and I've built the car myself. So I've spent money but the take-aways amount to much more than the money.

no, they actually made aztec green gs-r's in canada. it came in RS LS and GS-R. I havent seen any Aztec green GS models..

We all spend money in an unreasonable manner for this car hobby. Whether it's on useless jdm bling parts or a new paint job, most times it's above and beyond what is required for a cars main purpose...transportation. Case in point: CF Vision mirrors.

you arent including the money you've put into the car....paint, wheels, suspension, your "rare jdm trying too hard" parts interior pieces...

3 cars???? that sounds like a TERRIBLE investment! You could have bought a small house worked on it a little and be renting to a young couple...making thousands!
