Your color looks awesome

But you do realize there is no such thing as a JDM DA9, right? Your car is obviously USDM.

It's a bitch. Unless you have tiny Asian hands, it's very difficult to get your hand behind the cluster to properly remove the clip that holds the speedometer cable to the gauge cluster. I always cut up my hands when doing this. Everything else is easy.

However, I think you could disconnect the speedometer cable at the transmission and pull the cluster out far enough to remove the cable. I've never tried it that way, but I'm going to have to when I change out my fucked up speedo cable for my new one.

yes, be VERY careful when removing the cluster....the tip of my speedo cable broke off onto the back of my cluster and it wouldn't start after that unless i popped the clutch. i had to do that **** for like a week

Alternator, because the one that's in my car now is on it's way out so just wanted to know since the R comes with a alternator if i could just use that one?

About the cluster, I guess I'll just fiddle around with it anyway if i get stuck i have the helms manual =]

i dont have a b16 so i dont feel comfortable testing that out. why dont you swap it out and let me know and save me some money on a JDM cluster.

Because i would buy the JDM cluster just for the tachometer and keep my MPH's.

i used to love hitting 8200 rpms in my EF. those clusters just run out of space at 8000.

was that meant for me? if so, then no i dont have one ready to go on. I was just gonna buy one from certifit when i get my car painted. and then use a JDM bumper support. but im debating on doing that or just buying a JDP lip instead and install it after the car is painted with the 90-91 front bumper.
