Wow that guys car is amazing (in digital horizon's) . After spending all that money into it, He definitely has something to show for it. I absolutely love how he retrofitted a cr-v cup holder panel in the DA. God knows our DA's need those cupholders.

Bought the black DA from member named Rainon for $3500. It had a plastic lip, cracked and falling out so I decided not to keep it. The paint was faded black, had to repaint. It has a FAKE mugen steering wheel, Wheels was 14" steelies with probably 50% left on horrible condition, suspension was too stiff and I find it unbearable for daily drive, one of the shock is busted. rear speakers weren't mounted properly, I had to take them out too. JVC HU volume **** is kinda acting up. Motor is still strong tho.

After replacing with new suspension, 16" 5zigen GN+, and new industrial grey metallic paint...here's how it came out.

This is my 3rd DA second running...Shes got a warped head, but still runs like a champ. Im thinking either b16a obd1 jspec (170hp) or B20b Jspec (142 ft-lbs)?
What do you guys think?

I second the notion of B18C...with some modification a DA is just begging for one.

ima get JDM one pieces, remove those gay projectors which came when i bought the car, im planning to get gold jhp SPUN mesh wheels and paint the sidemarkers white to match as well.

Its a Stock LS motor with custom piping to an Apexi muffler and a generic namebrand SRI.

I agree. Though, I couldn't do much with it sitting in my garage..and a parted car on jacks right next to it, lol.

Been done already. Pretty much exactly what you just said too! White 90-91 DA painted moldings, and gold spun mesh wheels. I think you should go for something different. Do white with blue wheels or something crazy. Check out this pic i got off a thread with a sick Lexus SC:

I LOOOOOOOOOVE those rims. Too bad they're not meant for the DA though. Even if it was on there... that's too much lip. You just need the RIGHT amount of lip...

How much did it cost you in total though? From going from cable to hydro, complete swap over, etc..? In the end what did you spend on putting in a B18C in the DA?
